Platech Plate Heat Exchangers are made up of the plates stacked between the stable and mobile pressure plates. Since almost the whole of materials is used in heat transfer, the plate heat exchangers may have an effective heat transfer surface even in a small area. Platech plate heat exchangers are 5 times smaller than pipe heat exchangers with the same thermal capacity. Our Platech Plate heat exchangers have the advance design characteristics for long term performance and customer satisfaction.

Our standard : ASME, PED, ABS, LRS, GL, BV, GOST

SIGMAFIT

Universal Plates

The SIGMAFIT distinguish itself with a computer based optimized residence time distribution. Thereby this line of products can be used without any restrictions to be used in applications, which require a homogeneous dwell time profile.

  • All liquids, even those with fine suspended solids.
  • Capacity up to 2000 m³/h.
  • Hard and soft plate corrugation patterns in the herringbone design.
  • Corrugation depth between 2.5 and 4 mm.
  • The plates can be equipped either with the SIGMAFIX adhesive-free gasket system or with glued high performance gaskets.
  • Wide range of choice in plate and gasket materials.
  • Also available with the PTFE coated SIGMAFIX elastomer gasket, SIGMACOAT.

SIGMA X-Serisi

High Performance Plates

The X-series mainly demonstrates it’s advantages where the temperature differences between the cold and the hot products are very tight.
The small material thickness of the X-series heat transfer plates reduces the heat transfer resistance additionally and leads to extremely high over all heat transfer coefficients.

  • Clean, homogeneous, solid-free liquids.
  • Extremely high thermal performance.
  • Patented hard and soft herringbone corrugation patterns.
  • Corrugation depth between 2 and 3 mm.
  • The plates can be sealed either by using the SIGMAFIX adhesive-free system or with a high resistance adhesives.
  • Wide range of plate and gasket materials.

SIGMATWIN

Double-Wall Plates

We designed the SIGMATWIN double-wall plate to achieve the specific demands for a heat exchanger plate as a safety plate.

Construction and functional concept

  • Instead of a single SIGMA plate we apply a SIGMATWIN plate pair, which has been moulded together and put into each other.

  • The sealing of the gap is realised with flat ring gaskets only in the section of the four holes.

  • This prevents a contamination of the two fluids / products which are engaged in the heat exchange process in the event of a leakage. A leakage escapes into the gap between the two plates and can be seen during an inspection.

  • SIGMA plate heat exchangers equipped with SIGMATWIN double-wall plates can be opened like standard plate heat exchangers for inspection, or maintenenance purposes. The gaps of the double-wall plate can be revised as well.

SIGMA T-Serisi

Series plates for viscous flows

Due to the wider flow channel geometry solids of bigger diameters can easily flow through the T-series plates. Also applications which require very low pressure losses can be covered by these plate types.

  • Liquids, even those containing bigger particles or fibres.
  • Pulp
  • Condensation of vapour
  • Wide gap plate corrugation with hard and soft herringbone patterns
  • Corrugation depth between 4 and 6 mm
  • Wide range of choice in plate and gasket materials

SIGMA V-Series

Evaporation Plates

  • Superior product distribution due to the thermo-siphon principle.
  • Extremely short residence time, to guarantee a gentle treatment of the product.
  • Low pressure losses across the tubes, a benefit of the short tube length.
  • High concentrations and viscosities are possible due to the high vapor velocity in a rising film.
  • Clearly defined product flow path. There is no chance of local over-concentration.
  • Lower cost heat transfer area, compared to other evaporation systems.
  • No components are welded to the plate surface that can cause corrosion and build up of fibrous materials.
  • Flexible design. Capacity changes can be made easily by adding or removing plates
